"Herbasec Horsetail is produced by cold extraction from Horse Tail herbs (Herba Equiseti arvensis) followed by a careful drying method. Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) in the family Equisetaceae, is a prehistoric botanical relic and is a close relative of trees that grew on earth 270 million years ago in the Carboniferous period. The stems are branched, jointed, with 6- 16 grooves and ridges, leaves, minute, in whorls, united into a sheath at the base. Spore-bearing cones are on separate stalks.
