IOR DS-PDL3 has a red iron oxide substrate and is a free flowing red powder. It gives good color development to formulas. It has DS-PDL3 Surface Treatment which contributes water resistance and smoothness to finished products as other silicone treatments do. PDL3 mimics stratum corneum intercellular lipid. This treatment provides excellent skin protection effect (barrier function to maintain moisture) and skin compatibility and adhesion. It is available on Mica, Talc, Sericite, TiO2, Iron Oxides and Spherical Silica.
