Iceland Moss Herbasol® Extract Glycerine SB is an aqueous glycerinic extract from Iceland Moss (Lichen Islandicus), preserved with Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate. Iceland Moss (Cetraria islandica) belongs to the family Parmeliaceae and is in fact not a moss at all but a fruticose, or branching lichen. It is native to alpine and arctic regions and indigenous to the northern hemisphere. It is found in harsh environments, usually on rock, bark, or poor soil.
