Iceland Moss Herbasol® Extract PG (PF) is an aqueous-propyleneglycolic extract from Iceland Moss (Lichen Islandicus). Iceland Moss (Cetraria islandica) belongs to the family Parmeliaceae and is in fact not a moss at all but a fruticose, or branching lichen. It is native to alpine and arctic regions and indigenous to the northern hemisphere. It is found in harsh environments, usually on rock, bark, or poor soil.
