Pomegranate Herbasec® is a preservative-free dry extract on maltodextrin. The pastel coloured powder reflects the natural characteristics (e.g. colour and fragrance) of Pomegranate. Herbasec Pomegranate is produced by cold extraction from Pomegranate fruit bark (Cortex Granati fructuum/Pericarpium Granati) followed by a careful drying method. Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is a small tree or thorny shrub in the family Punicaceae. The plant has white or bright red flowers and glossy leaves. The red fruits have a smooth leathery skin and are filled with seeds, which are encased in an orange red, edible pulp.
