Description 

Buna^® CB 380 (former Taktene 380) is a Lithium Butadiene Rubber.

 

The rubber is protected by a stabiliser system which is in chemical compliance with the FDA regulation §177.2600 "Rubber articles intended for repeated use", the recommendation VI of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment and the Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011 and amendments until today.

 Application Buna^® CB 380 is used for the production of ABS and HIPS. For HIPS it is used either alone or in blend with Buna^® CB 565 T or SB-Polymers to achieve polystyrene with improved surface gloss. In blends with Buna^® CB 530 T it is possible to attain an improved stress cracking resistance. Solubility Buna^® CB 380 rubber is soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, styrene, toluene, tetrahydrofurane, methylene chloride, 1,1,1-trichloroethane and cyclohexane, and is insoluble in alcohols and water.
