EMULSIL® S-395 is a silicone polyether soluble in water, alcohol or hydroalcoholic systems. It is used in a wide variety of cosmetic and personal care applications including as a resin plasticizer in hair sprays, emollient in skin care lotions and shaving products. This product is used as a wetting agent, surface tension depressant and emulsifier. EMULSIL® S-395 is typically used between 0.5 – 5% by weight.
