Eyebright Herbasec® is produced by cold extraction from Eyebright herbs (Euphrasia officinalis, Orobanchaceae) followed by a careful drying method. The carrier is Maltodextrin. Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis) in the family Scrophulariaceae, is a creeping, semi-parasitic, annual growing up to 15-25 centimetres. It has tiny oval leaves and small scallop-edged white flowers tinged with lilac, with a yellow spot and a black centre. It is odourless and has a bitter and astringent taste. It is common in Europe, in meadows, heaths, open grassland and woodlands.

Properties/applications include: antibacterial, anti-blemish, anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant, astringent, soothing, tonic, blemished skin, eye care, general skin care, sensitive / dry skin, and deodorant.
