Salcare® SC 96 is designed for use in a range of applications in the cosmetics industry, and is used to enhance the performance of skin and hair care formulations, providing thickening and conditioning, with a typical application level in skin creams of around 2% polymer as supplied. It is a cationic homopolymer dispersed in medicinal grade white oil, with prime functions of thickening, conditioning, moisturizing, opacifying, good spreading, suspending, and stabilizing. This product is a non-aqueous off-white mobile liquid dispersion of a polymer, with a slight odor, and is particularly effective when formulated around pH 3-6.
