Ginkgo Herbasec® is a preservative-free dry extract on maltodextrin. The pastel coloured powder reflects the natural characteristics (e.g. colour and fragrance) of Ginkgo. Herbasec Ginkgo is produced by cold extraction from Ginkgo leaves (Folia Ginkgo bilobae) followed by a careful drying method. The ginkgo or maidenhair tree, Ginkgo biloba, is the only living species of the family Ginkgoaceae, which were gymnosperms that thrived 175 to 200 million years ago. It is a medium-sized, deciduous tree, growing up to 36 metres in height. It bears fan-shaped leaves with two lobes and parallel veins and hanging clusters of tiny flowers.
