Granpowder QSC is an innovative hydrophilic microsphere powder that offers new formulating possibilities with water-based formulations. Structurally GRANPOWDER QSC is comprised of a silicone resin powder surface bonded with silica.

While designed for the aqueous phase of formulations GRANPOWDER QSC has the unique ability to absorb both water and oil. This dual compatibility has shown to improve the stability of O/W and W/O emulsions by the Pickering effect and thus preventing coalescence. Performance benefits include excellent slip and sensory aesthetics, soft focus effect, and strong detackifying properties associated with glycols and/or rheology modifiers. GRANPOWDER QSC is designed for variety of personal care applications including skin, body, and sun care formulations.
